CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS
ESPAÑOL 3 and ESPAÑOL 4:
This year we will have only a class set of Spanish textbooks available for students to use in the classroom. There are no textbooks available for students to check out and take home. Students are given digital access to the on line textbook and they should be able to access their textbook from any location. Students should log in to ConnectED through RRISD SSO Hub
Initial Login: Students will need to enter the login credentials listed below the first time they login to ConnectED:
Username: S and your ID#
Password: Your school login password
This year, there are no student workbooks that are issued to students. All workbook activities are digital and can be assigned by the teacher as needed. There are multiple on line activities that students can access to reinforce their language study.
LAPTOPS are available for our class--and will be used in multiple activities throughout the school year. Be sure that you have a student g-mail account with our school in order to use the laptops. Also, be sure that you can access your HAC account for teacher conferences.
ALL CLASSES:
1) **Cell phone use is not permitted in our classroom--unless authorized by the teacher.
[Abuse of this and other electronic devices will result in the loss of your device during class time.]
2) Translators may not be used unless specifically authorized for an activity.
3) Food and Drinks are NOT allowed in our classroom.
4) No hats allowed in the building.
5) Respect the dress code guidelines.
The most important thing to bring to class is a desire to learn, a respect of this privilege, and an awareness of our cultural diversities. With all of this in place, we work as a team so that we not only meet, but exceed our classroom expectations.
PLEASE NOTE: Students who miss our lessons in class (due to absence, illness, extra-curricular activities, etc.) should come by the classroom (B-200) (PROMPTLY) to receive their missing assignments--AND--to receive tutoring as needed for instruction and clarification of concepts taught and practiced during class.
